Adecco Group North America honored as one of Military Spouse magazine’s top 10 military spouse-friendly employers
MELVILLE, NY (September 30, 2009)- Adecco Group North America, part of the world’s leading recruitment and workforce solutions provider, is honored to be selected as one of Military Spouse magazine’s Top 10 Military Spouse-Friendly Employers for 2009. The annual list recognizes companies that have made the greatest effort and shown substantial success in hiring from the talent pool of over one million military spouses across America.
Adecco Group North America’s commitment to the military and military spouses is evident in multiple programs, including Adecco’s Military Spouse Career Connections program, which finds hundreds of military spouses meaningful job opportunities, and the Military Veterans program, which helps veterans find work throughout the United States.

Through hundreds of Adecco offices across the United States, the Career Connections program has offered a variety of career coaching and training opportunities for over 20,000 participants, including career counseling, resume enhancement, interview training and online skills training.

The Military Spouse Top 10 Military Spouse-Friendly Employers recipients were selected from approximately 2,500 organizations with minimum earnings of $1 billion in annual revenues. The companies were evaluated on efforts to recruit military spouses, results in recruiting spouses and the policies that affect them. The list, featuring Adecco, is featured in the October 2009 issue of Military Spouse magazine.
