A health management company located in the Baltimore, Maryland metropolitan area is actively recruiting for a part time Corporate Attorney to act as a liaison between outside legal counsel and insurance carriers. The position offers great long-term potential for a Corporate Attorney that is either in transition, looking for part-time work to supplement their current income or looking to get their foot in the door with an In-House Corporate Department. The Corporate Attorney will provide analysis, counsel and recommend policy and position on SEC and litigation issues with an emphasis on mergers & acquisitions, financial offerings, financial structuring, securities offerings, corporate compliance issues, employee benefit transactions, nondisclosure agreements, outsourcing agreements and business strategic planning.

The Corporate Attorney candidate will have 3-5 years of corporate law experience. Strong SEC knowledge of applicable laws and regulations with an emphasis on mergers & acquisitions, financial offerings, financial structuring, securities offerings, corporate compliance issues, employee benefit transactions, nondisclosure agreements, outsourcing agreements and business strategic planning is a plus for this Corporate Attorney position. The Corporate Attorney candidate will have a Jurist Doctor from an accredited law school and membership in any State Bar as an attorney qualified and in good standing to practice law in that state. The Corporate Attorney candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to analyze case law and provide clear and concise recommendations.
