Now hiring an Accounting Assistant in Saint Petersburg, Florida. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing high-level administrative support and ensuring the smooth workflow of daily operations. The candidate for this position should be highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment.


Job Responsibilities:

Heavy calendar coordination, including the scheduling for the CEO & VPs across multiple endeavors

Schedule meetings and serve as liaison to the Executive Management Team

Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department

Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records

Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements

Reconcile accounts in a timely manner

Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database

Provide assistance and support to company personnel


Job Qualifications:

2-5 years of Accounting Assistant experience

Professional level correspondence and communication skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited 4-year university, required

Requires proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook

Must be able to proofread grammar and punctuation with a high level of accuracy

Financial/Banking experience is PREFERRED
