Ajilon Healthcare is partnering with an medical practice in the Kansas City area in their search for a Bilingual RN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients while adhering to compliance standards. This candidate should be able to recognize patient needs and prioritize those needs with the needs outlined by physicians.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in taking temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient. Documents history and relevant information, as needed, in patient’s chart.
  • Explains procedures and treatments to patient to gain cooperation, understanding, and allay apprehension.
  • Administers prescribed treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
  • Prepares equipment and aids Physician during treatment and examination of patient.
  • Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of patient.
  • Prepares rooms, sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
  • Responds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol.
  • Participates in coordination of patient care involving the submission of referrals and orders for diagnostic imaging and required patient follow-up.
  • Oversight of lab results and communication of lab results and plan of care to patients.
  • Participates on the Quality Management committee and other committees, as needed.
  • Provides leadership of weekly clinical support staff huddles and monthly staff meetings.
  • Qualifications

  • Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current licensure in Missouri
  • Bachelor’s degree or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bilingual in both Spanish and English
