Commercial Move Coordinator

As the Commercial Move Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that the customer account moves throughout the move process successfully by preparing and distributing paperwork, coordinating and managing with appropriate personnel and contacting the customer at regular steps in the process.

Responsibilities:

  • Set-up shipment: type paperwork, register shipment, make appropriate origin/ destination accommodations, adjust inventories as needed, maintain commercial warehouse accounts and ensure customer contact throughout the move
  • Create customer billings and process payments
  • Work with operations and crews to resolve problems if they arise during the move process
  • Assist corporate claims office with researching customer claims
  • Assist with answering phones and walk-in customers. Answer basic sales questions regarding estimates, procedures, rates, etc, and perform required tasks to set-up sales appointments or book shipments
  • Perform basic office, receptionist and clerical duties as needed
  • Provide immediate, personable service to all customers, internal and external. Maintain positive customer relationships
  • Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills and desire to investigate further if needed
  • Demonstrate team mentality while also able to work independently with little direction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Work well with deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook. Comfortable learning new systems
