Customer Care Tier II

Ajilon is currently hiring for a Customer Care Tier II for a local company in Mendota Heights, MN. This position will provide customer service to participants, beneficiaries, union locals and providers regarding eligibility, benefits and claims status with routine supervision. This position is a temp to hire opportunity that is 100% onsite at the office in Mendota Heights, MN.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Documenting telephone and written inquiries in accordance with various Plan(s) benefits.
  • Escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Update files, including documenting system notes of conversations or action taken.
  • Perform administrative and clerical tasks.
  • Consistently meet established performance standards, including quantity and quality call standards.
  • Maintain current knowledge of assigned Plan(s).
  • Initiate Action Requests to appropriate departments to make adjustments to claims and/or eligibility as necessary.  Follow up to ensure successful completion of Action Request.
  • Consistently demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Must meet established attendance and punctuality guidelines.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials, technical procedures, benefit plans and regulations.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages.
  •  
    Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months of experience in customer service.
  • Proficient PC skills, including MS Word and Excel.
  • Call center experience in benefits, claims, billing and eligibility.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Solid organization skills with strong detail orientation and listening skills.
  • Must be able to have flexible work schedule when workflow requires.
