Hi there!

We're actively looking to add several excellent Customer Experience Specialists with cashier experience to our team in the Sacramento, CA area (Midtown) for our upcoming busy season! The need for these positions typically last from October all the way through the holidays.  We're really looking for candidates who have at least some of high-volume retail cashiering/customer service (box stores, grocery stores, or really any retail operation that required a high-level of customer service) as our aim is to creat a great experience for our clients who mostly come into our shop for seasonal gifts and baking needs.

The compensation for the role is 15.50/hour.

We are again partnering with Andrew Walsh at Accounting Principals to help us interview qualified candidates so if you're interested in learning more about potentially joining our team please reach out to him at with your resume (preferred) or apply directly here.

Duties and Requirements:

  • Make a connection with guests by engaging in friendly conversation throughout each transaction.
  • Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, neatly, and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
  • Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining high levels of customer service and accuracy.
  • Make it right for the guest by de-escalating any negative situations and recover the guest shopping experience while following company policies and procedures (this is extremely rare for our store).
  • Proactively maintain a clean, clutter-free work area (including gathering abandoned items, baskets, and hangers).
  • Stock supplies during store open hours while remaining available for the guests.
  • Say thank you after every guest interaction and be sure (to the best of your ability) every guest leaves satisfied with their shopping experience.
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance at all times.
