CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST – CALL CENTER, EVENING SHIFT

Ajilon is recruiting an experienced Call Center Customer Support professional local to answer calls at our client’s 24/7 support center located in Richardson, TX.  You must be able to work weekends and holiday.  The client’s Support Center plays a crucial role in ensuring security post locations receive on-time, uninterrupted coverage and accurate pay for officers.  This is an evening shift: 2:30 PM-10:30 PM (5 days a week).  Potential temp-to-hire after 13 weeks.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Respond to alarm calls/emergency situations and dispatch appropriate personnel; document calls for proper billing or incident reporting.
  • Receive after-hours call forwarding from all office locations.
  • Create attendance exception record based on schedule changes, where appropriate.
  • Handle call offs, document situations, notify local management, and assist with filing post. Adjust schedules to reflect real-time occurrences.
  • Identify when an officer fails to log in/out and determine appropriate action to get post covered or office signed out.
  • Spot unscheduled shifts prior to shift start time and ensure that post is filled.

    Additional Responsibilities

  • Train (or retrain) officers on call-in procedures.
  • Monitor safety check calls and respond appropriately.
  • Provide feedback to account managers on actions that need to be corrected.
  • Handle local office calls during normal office hours and transfer calls to the appropriate party.
  • Support the “Customer Connect Initiative”.
  • Keep supervisor informed of any significant issue.
  •  

    Minimum Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Customer service experience in call center environment, preferred.
  • Familiar with navigating web-based system and type while assisting callers.
  •  

     

    Compensation

  • $17.00 per hour, based on experience

  • Temp (potential temp-to-hire after 13 weeks, 520 hours works)
  • Fulltime – Evening Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM (5 days/week), must be available to work holidays and weekends.
