We are currently recruiting for a Front Desk Coordinator position.
The job duties and responsibilities include:
Answer income calls
Managing various files and providing general office duties, e.g. data entry, scanning, faxing, etc
Responsible for insurance verifications with health insurance organizations
Responding to inquiries in a detail-oriented and effective manner while efficiently answering phone calls within a minimum number of rings
Making appointments, collecting co-pays, and providing receipt of money in accordance with established procedures
Referring patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
Qualifications-(Education, Experience and Job Competency):
High School graduate or GED equivalent.
Must be friendly, courteous and have good communication skills when greeting patients.
Previous experience working in a busy clinic or physician office is preferred.
2 years of front desk experience
Prior experience using multi-phone line system
Ability to maintain confidential information
Professional and approachable
Employment Type: Full-time, Contract-to-hire
Work Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday
