One of the city’s manufacturing and custom chemical solutions companies is currently hiring for a Full Cycle Customer Service job in Houston, TX.  The company is located on the West side of town (Memorial area) and offers extensive training on their operational processes as well as a collaborative working environment. The ideal candidate will have previously worked in an order processing and vendor coordinating capacity for at least 2 years. The starting salary for this role ranges from $40,000 to $45,000 annually, depending on experience (as well as a flexible schedule and competitive bonus incentives)!

FULL CYCLE CUSTOMER SERVICE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process incoming quotes, orders, and customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Manage and coordinate quote and order changes
  • Maintain and update customer information in the business system
  • Review all incoming transactions and assess company’s ability to fulfill order requirements within customer’s requested delivery timeline
  • Monitor changes to existing transactions that will affect delivery timelines
  • Research reported customer errors to ensure internal process compliance
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of Distributor policies that affect customer service
  • Review and process product returns
  • Assist with billing processes, collect on past-due payment if and when needed
  • Coordinate across multiple departments and with internal/outside sales members for escalated, complex, and high-priority customer needs
  • Coordinate with external vendors, supplies, and distributors to obtain status updates
  • Assists with various reporting needs and submits to management for review

MUST HAVES

  • Degree STRONGLY preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of full cycle customer service (including order processing and vendor coordinating) experience, REQUIRED
  • Proficient knowledge and experience utilizing CRM/ERP system, REQUIRED
  • Manufacturing industry experience, strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, REQUIRED
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
