Ajilon has partnered with a Healthcare company located in central San Diego who is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team! The ideal candidate for this position will excel in customer service and have a passion for helping others. The pay for this Temp to Hire position is $18 an hour and is a great opportunity to continue your career in healthcare! 

 

Responsibilities include:

- Answer inbound calls from customers and answer questions regarding their account and billing

-Review customers claims and benefits and collect any patient balances that are due

-Document phone calls and update customers' accounts and insurance information

-Review & resolve call center-related tasks, reports and activities daily

-Follow up daily with internal team to support timely and accurate customer service communication

 

Qualifications:

- Healthcare experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred    

- At least 1 year experience in customer service/call center environment 

- Knowledge of medical billing software preferred

-Knowledge of HIPAA laws   

- Can use independent judgment and remain calm under pressure

- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail

- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
