Ajilon is partnering with our international tech client for their next HR Assistant. This is contract to hire role in Redmond.
Responds and answers or refers employee's human resource-related questions and inquiries regarding established policies, procedures, and programs
Provides administrative support to human resources function as needed including recruitment documentation, background check data entry, new hire travel arrangements, new hire paperwork and updates to applicable databases. Updates employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other uses.
Assists in processing of semi-monthly payroll, including time sheet reconciliation, entry of payroll changes, paid time off tracking, and post-payroll reporting. Works with third party payroll vendor to facilitate smooth processing. Maintains updated payroll procedure manual
Processes employee benefits enrollment and changes, and invoice reconciliation. Administers employee benefit orientation and answers basic questions about the plans.
Additional duties as required by HR Manager.
Associate (2 year) degree in Business Administration, HR, or equivalent.
3 years in administrative setting with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a HR discipline (i.e.: payroll or time & attendance, benefits or leave administration, employee relations, etc).
Beginner to intermediate Microsoft Office (including, Excel, Word and PowerPoint) proficiency and willingness to become proficient in various HR/Payroll databases as required.
