Human Resources Generalist Job in Fallbrook, CA


Ajilon is partnering with a construction company to find a Human Resources Generalist for their office in Fallbrook, CA. The HR Generalist will be responsible for the effective day-to-day functioning of the HR department within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role includes recruitment and recruitment strategy, onboarding, updating employee records, maintaining the HRIS database, and acting as the go-to person for anything related to benefits, leaves, PTO, and general employee relations topics. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity that offers an annual compensation between $60,000 – 70,000 annually, depending on previous experience + generous benefits.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Full cycle recruitment from job posting, telephone screening, interviewing, and recruitment strategy
  • Planning, prioritizing, organizing, and managing HR administrative workflow and projects
  • Coordinating new hire process, onboarding, and training new employees
  • Providing support for benefits administration, personnel policies, compensation, and regulatory compliance
  • Updating employee records and ensuring accuracy and integrity of data
  • Developing and maintaining employee files
  • Contributing to the development of new HR systems and processes
  • Assisting Payroll team with reviewing timesheets and processing weekly payroll
  • Runs time and attendance reports and other Payroll reports as requested
  • Acting as the go to person for employees with questions related to: benefits, leaves, PTO, compliance, training and general employee relations topics
  • Other related duties and required or assigned


Qualifications include:

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of HR related experience
  • Payroll experience required
  • Construction industry experience or related field preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with high regard for discretion and confidentiality
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Thrives and performs well under pressure
  • Ability to learn quickly, multi-task, work independently, use good judgment and discernment



$60,000- 70,000 annually, depending on previous experience (+ generous benefits)



Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
