Human Resource Coordinator
Ajilon is currently looking for a Human Resource Coordinator with 2 or more years of experience in the field, for a full-time opportunity with a growing. This is a great contract to hire opportunity to work with a collaborative team and have the opportunity to gain career changing experience
This role entails supporting the Director of HR with sourcing, recruiting, and initial phone interviews. This individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a general knowledge of HR functions such as compliance, employee relations, and benefits. Prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures
Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars
Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
Create job postings on all internal and external systems. Review and screen candidate resume. Set up candidate interviews. Submit Predictive Index to candidates.
Conduct background checks for all new hires, including processing reference checks and employment verifications and perform all new hire orientations.
Process new hire and termination documentation for employees in accordance with State and Federal requirements. Responsible for creating and maintaining new hire, benefits, I-9, and other applicable files.
Bachelor’s degree in similar field required
2 or more years of experience
Must have great written and oral communication skills
Must be able to maintain employee confidentiality
