Ajilon is seeking an HR Generalist in Indianapolis, IN. Previous Human Resources experience is preferred, however, candidates with a college degree in HR, HR internship experience, and the willingness to learn will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, and selects employees to fill vacant positions
  • New Hire orientation and onboarding
  • Responding to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
  • Performance reviews & Exit interviews
  • Benefits Administration
  • Preparing and Maintaining OSHA logs
  • Preparing Payroll
  • Monthly HR newsletters
  • Department budgets
  • Maintaining employee handbook
  • Conducting employee training as needed
  • Employee event and outing planning
  • Employee recognition planning
  • Maintaining HRIS  
  • Writing job descriptions
  • Accident inquiries and reporting
  • Maintaining knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting
  • Qualifications:

  • College degree in Human Resource Management or s related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of HR experience
  • Excellent multitasker with the ability to prioritize.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team driven environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Employment Type: Full Time, Direct Hire

    Compensation: $40,000-45,000

    Work Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
