Hi there! We are actively seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Member Service Representative to join our growing team in our Stockton, CA healthcare offices! The MSR acts as the 'face of the company' and initial contact point for for members and providers who contact us. The MSR is responsible for answering incoming contacts and assisting them in resolving issues and/or questions they may have. This may involve interaction with other departments within the organization or external entities. We consider this a true 'foot in the door' with our company and we are looking to hire on a contract basis with the true goal of having someone come in an prove themselves as an MSR and then potentially move up through our organization!
Our ideal candidate will either have some previous medical experience (billing and coding certicate, for example) and/or have at least a year of experience in a call center environment. We'd like to note that we are very service-forward and are far less metrics driven that other medical call center environments, as we want to allow our MSRs the time to truly help our providers and members.

Respond to all client inquiries via the phone
Assist clients and providers with billing inquiries and issues as needed.
Help coordinate with other departments to take accountability for and resolve issues while working to ensure resolution within prescribed timeframes.
Accurately record client interactions per our company standards
Educate members on our website and the self-service tools to help make their interactions as convenient as possible.
Manage potentially difficult or emotional customer situations (we are a medical services provider, some of our clients needs require a soft touch), responds promptly to customer needs, solicit customer feedback to improve service, respond to requests for service and assistance, and meet commitments.
High School Diploma
1 year experience working in a high call volume customer-centric environment OR previous medical experience/schooling
Basic computer skills, including electronic mail, routine databases, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
Maintaining professionalism at all times when interacting with clients and team members alike is an absolute must
