We are excited to have partnered with a premier logistics company in the Newburgh Heights area that is looking to add a Logistics Customer Service professional to their close knit team. This is a temp to hire opportunity. There you will work with both customers and drivers to take shipment information, assign drivers, set appointments, and ensure a smooth process for all parties. You are the ideal candidate if you have 1+ year of logistics experience, have an upbeat and positive attitude, and strive in a fast paced environment.
Job responsibilities include:
Answering incoming calls from customers and drivers
Entering shipment information in their TMS system
Assign and dispatch drivers
Work with internal counterpart to ensure smooth shipment movement
Additional responsibilities as needed
Background required for this role includes:
1+ years of previous logistics experience
Upbeat and positive attitude
Thrive in a fast paced environment
Proficient in MS Office
TMS experience a plus
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
