  • Negotiate, review and contract with freight companies (land and ocean) to shorten delivery time and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with suppliers (overseas and domestic) on logistic function.
  • Coordinate with personnel (both internal and overseas factories) to resolve freight handling issues.
  • Planning and manage logistics function for North American operations.
  • Manage department of 3-6 direct reports.
  • Maximize efficiencies to lower overall costs and maximize service to customers.
  • Summary of Essential Job Functions
  • Develop and manage logistics strategies to achieve short and long-term results.
  • Develop and manage department budget.
  • Manage inventory to deliver fill rates equal to or greater than 98% while minimizing excess and aging inventory.
  • Responsible for performance of warehouse including order fill rates, adherence to freight times, expense management.
  • Liaise with suppliers, customers and carriers concerning material and product flow.
  • Establish working relationship with key customers with objective of lowering overall supply chain costs for both parties.
  • Ensure carriers compliance with company policies and procedures for product transit or delivery.
  • Ensure the compliance with applicable laws, regulations, certifications, and ISO requirements.
  • Prepare accurate reports for upper management and meet timeliness targets.
  • Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify departmental tasks and utilize technology to streamline processes.
  • Create, manage, and implement department procedures.
  • Set and achieve departmental and individual goals which align with business objectives.
  • Develop specific, measurable objectives for direct reports that will ensure attainment of company objectives.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate employees.
  • Other duties may be assigned.


  • 5 years of warehouse management and/or logistic management experience.
  • Must have at least 3 years of solid supervisory experience
  • Bilingual, English and Mandarin
  • 2 years’ experience with ERP applications and advanced excel
  • Experience in determination of custom duty rate, excise tax, and import procedures.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business operations or related major preferred.
