  • Responsible for properly troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing all plant and grounds equipment.
  • Properly diagnose and repair all machinery within the plant (Pneumatic, Electric and hydraulic)
  • Preform emergency repairs on production/line equipment in a timely manner minimizing down time
  • Trouble shoot PLCs to find the root cause of the issue. Assist engineering team on reprogramming
  • Preform preventative maintenance to ensure all equipment within the plant is properly functioning
  • Diagnose, dismantle, repair and reassemble machinery throughout the facility
  • Responsible for properly building and wiring control panels for various machines, properly following blueprints and schematics
  • Maintain inventory levels for all repair equipment throughout the plant, ordering parts when needed
  • Manage and Maintain the maintenance management system, including entering, printing and closing work orders
  • Ability to work with Production staff to gain input on process improvement ideas
  • Assist with the installation of all new equipment
  • Act as a mentor, by training and developing new mechanics and operators to ensure equipment is being maintained properly
  • Maintain and update the Preventative Maintenance Schedule for all production equipment and fleet units
  • Read and interpret blueprints, equipment manuals and work orders to preform repairs
  • Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic
  • Experience with SAP
  • Willing to work overtime
  • Knowledge and ability to work with hand, power and shop tools
  • In depth understanding of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic machinery
  • Bi-Lingual in Spanish is a huge plus
