We are currently recruiting for a Medical Billing/AR Representative in Indianapolis, IN.  If you have two to three years’ of previous experience in medical billing you are the ideal candidate. In this position you’re responsible for entering in patient charges, submitting claims to insurance, and working rejections/rebills.


  • Utilizing the Managed Care Data Base
  • Entering in charges and making adjustments
  • Submitting Claims
  • Validating medical necessity
  • Validating payers and plans
  • Complete billing rejections
  • Rebills
  • Following up on pending claims
  • Hitting set metrics


  • An Associate’s Degree in Healthcare management, Business Management or a related field is preferred but not required
  • Billing certification is preferred but not required
  • Requires a high level of interpersonal, problem solving, and analytic skills
  • 1-2 years of previous medical billing or medical front office experience is required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and revenue cycle billing
  • Familiar with current ICD-10, CPT-4 and/or HCPS coding systems
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Ability to compose professional emails
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from patients, facilities or other departments within revenue cycle
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, detailed, and deadline oriented environment
  • Ability to work with a team and independently
  • Proven record of excellent attendance in previous positions
  • Excellent computer skills

Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary to Hire

Compensation: $15-17+

Work Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm during training then flexible shift, 40 hours per week
