As a Medical Customer Service Representative you will take inbound calls from members regarding inquiries on health plans. This ideal candidate will be empathetic and excellent at building rapport with members.

Job Duties:

  • Provide remarkable customer service in a high volume inbound call center environment
  • Accurately enter data on member information and updating any changes necessary
  • Answering all inquiries, regarding benefits and eligibility while maintaining composure when dealing with a challenging situation
  • Providing coverage information
  • Directing calls to correct department when appropriate
  • Comfortable making occasional outbound follow up calls 
  •  

    Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years' customer service experience (preferably within the healthcare industry)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Works well independently and on a team
  • Bilingual - Spanish a plus but not required
  • Detail oriented with strong problem solving skills
