Medical Receptionist
 
Ajilon is working with a client located near Monroe Township, New Jersey to hire a Medical Receptionist. This is a contract to hire position with starting hourly pay between $12.00-15.00. This role will require you to provide an exceptional patient experience and strong customer service.
 
Primary responsibilities will include scheduling appointments and confirming insurance eligibility.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients upon arrival and initiate the check-in process by collecting all paperwork and answering questions
  • Manage multiple phone lines to answer questions and manage scheduling needs
  • Confirm patients’ appointments the day before and readjust as needed
  • Conduct the checkout procedure
  • Process electronic paperwork and information and maintain confidentiality of patient information
  • Work with insurance providers to verify coverage and eligibility prior to visits and procedures
Qualifications:
  • 6+ months of medical receptionist/front desk experience
  • Exposure working with electronic medical records and understanding of medical terminology
  • Prior experience working with insurance companies
  • Bilingual a plus
Education:
  • High school Diploma preferred
Work hours:
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday
 
Compensation:
$12.00-15.00/hour
