Ajilon is working with a client located near Princeton, New Jersey to hire a Medical Secretary. This is a contract to hire position with starting hourly pay between $12.00-15.00. This role will require you to provide an exceptional patient experience during the check in and check out process.
Primary responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, confirming insurance eligibility, and answering patient questions.

Greet patients and initiate the check-in process by collecting all paperwork and answering questions regarding their appointment
Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and procedures to assist patients
Manage multiple phone lines to schedule appointments and speak with medical professionals
Call patients to confirm appointments and procedures
Process electronic paperwork and information and maintain confidentiality of patient information
Verify insurance coverage and eligibility prior to visits and procedures
6+ months of medical receptionist/front desk experience
Exposure working with electronic medical records and understanding of medical terminology
Prior experience working with insurance companies
Bilingual a plus
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday
