Ajilon is hiring with a fast-growing delivery service for an Operations Manager to the healthcare industry in the Metro Detroit area. This is a direct hire position has the potential of promotion to a Regional Manager. The Operations Manager will support the day-to-day needs in addition to responsibilities below.
The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
Duties include but are not limited to:
Confirm arrival of all delivery
Track deliveries in near real-time to ensure that every route is positioned for On-time delivery
Liaison to Customers
Treat Delivery Contractors respectfully, honestly, fairly and promptly
Support the efficient sort, scan, verify and release of all routes
Dispatch routes via E-courier
Actively track all escalations, service failures and notifications that require action from the field
Reply to emails and dispatch them promptly
Accurately maintain notes and billing information in manual orders to ensure proper billing
Monitor vendors and escalate issues in real-time.
Respond to all emails and special requests in a timely manner.
Guarantee all daily reports are sent to the pharmacy.
Degree a plus but not required
Monday – Friday 5 pm- 1 am (Non-negotiable)
Familiarity with last mile delivery a plus
Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics, operations or healthcare
Experience using a delivery management system is a plus
Proficient in MS Office Products: Word, Excel, Outlook
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
Active listener with excellent communication skills
Ability to receive and record information
Sound judgment and critical thinking
Communicating with pharmacies via phone is required
