We are currently partnering with a wonderful start-up company in Mt. Airy that is looking to add a Part-time HR Generalist to their team immediately! This position is permanent and will require 25-30 hrs./week. This is an in-office position and you MUST be able to commute to Mt. Airy. Bilingual in Spanish is required for this role. This position pays $40k+ based on experience. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT OPEN TO PART-TIME, CANNOT DRIVE TO MT. AIRY, AND DONT HAVE PROFESSIONAL HR EXPERIENCE. This person must be able to hit the ground running, be a self-starter, and a go-getter.
Responsibilities:
Full-cycle recruiting for the 35 employees (office and plant)- screening applicants, interviewing, onboarding, compliance, orientation, etc.
Benefits enrollment and administration
Assisting with payroll through Paychex and updating employee time
Ensuring company's policies and procedures are in compliance
Communicating with both English and Spanish speaking employees
Handling any employee relations issues with employees
MUST be able to commute to Mt. Airy
Must be able to work part-time hours
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in HR or related field required
Bilingual in Spanish required
Must be well-rounded HR professional with knowledge in multiple areas (recruiting, benefits, compensation, employee relations, etc.)
Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency in Paychex or another payroll software required
Excellent communication skills
MUST be able to commute to Mt. Airy
Must be able to work part-time hours
