Title:   Purchasing Support Assistant

Description Summary: 

Provide support to the purchasing department by contacting suppliers, processing purchase orders, performing general clerical duties and tracking all materials. 

Essential Duties:

  1. Assist in most aspects of purchasing and inventory control
  2. Track open orders with vendors through completion
  3. Input, distribute, receive and file purchase order
  4. Assist Accounts Payable with invoicing
  5. Prepare reports
  6. Data entry

Qualification Requirements: 

  • 1 years of Purchasing expereince 
  • High School diploma - College experience preferred
  • Excellent Mathematical skills
  • Skiis:

  • Positive attitude
  • High character evidenced by sincere, honest and ethical behavior
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong follow up skills
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks in a timely manner
  • Good organizational skills and close attention to detail
  • Able to work independently
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Basic PC literacy and knowledge of spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
