Purchasing Associate
Ajilon is working with a client located near Trenton, New Jersey to hire a Purchasing Associate. This is a contract to hire position with starting hourly pay between $18.00-22.00. This is a great opportunity to work closely with vendors and develop partnerships with internal and external customers.
Primary responsibilities will include processing orders, preparing pricing requests, and answer inquiries.

  • Process orders and change requests in a timely manner
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships
  • Assist with vendor selections and negotiating prices
  • Maintain accurate product information such as descriptions and pricing
  • Prepare and review pricing requests
  • Answer inquiries from partners as needed
  • Assist in determining material needs and requirements and ensure on-time purchasing
  • 2+ years of relevant purchasing experience required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual a plus
  • High school Diploma required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field
Work hours:
8:00 – 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday
