Our client near Lisle is looking for a Revenue Cycle Manager to run the office of about 16 employees.


  • Work with the Administrator on revenue cycle performance to meet short- and long-term strategic goals
  • Evaluate and analyze reports to identify problems or trends in revenue management
  • Help to provide and create written guidelines, policies, and procedures in accordance with implementation of all work processes as a result of thorough analysis
  • Develop, plan, organize and implement current and future strategies to bill customers, process payments, minimize both bad debt and denials, improve cash flow
  • Manage the day-to-day activities as they relate to revenue cycle functions which include but are not limited to front offices services, billing, collections, accounts receivables and financial planning for patients
  • Provide training to ensure that goals and objectives of the team are properly defined and clearly established and in in line with the overall goals
  • Serve as a respected member of the management team and work closely with all employees, management and physicians
  • Interpret, implement and communicate changes in carrier/payer reimbursements, coding initiatives, or payer rules to all applicable staff and providers
  • Develop appropriate monitoring controls as it relates to staff performance, timely reimbursements, HIPAA compliance and coding
  • Possesses good working relationships with BCBSIL and other important managed care plans
  • Ability to utilize Epic report writing features and other tools related to revenue cycle management
  • Respond to physician and provider inquiries 
  • Ensures that department operating expenses are within the prescribed limits of budget plans and fiscal guidelines


  • High School Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree Preferred or at least four (4) years of medical revenue cycle management experience required 
  • Experience working in a medical practice or billing management setting required
  • A consistent track record of achieving metrics and at least two (3) years supervisory experience successfully resolving a variety of people issues
  • Must have experience in processing improvement in revenue cycle functions 
  • Strong analytical skills and adept in interpreting strategic vision into an operational model
  • Strong ethics and a high level of personal and professional integrity
  • An effective communicator at all levels in the organization, with strong oral, written and persuasive skills
  • Knowledge and proficient in Epic with regards to revenue cycle management tools
