Sales Account Manager


Our client is seeking a highly skilled sales candidate with intuition, project management skills and entrepreneurial minded heart.  In this role, you will be responsible for incorporating marketing and sales strategies, sales forecasts, current accounts management and spearheading and developing new sales channels into large consumer products and goods, grocery chains, retail outlets and pharmaceutical chains.  You will be providing invaluable insights and recommendations to the Sales Director and senior management and ownership.

Responsibilities:

  • In charge of managing and growing a successful book of Accounts.
  • Establish new client relationships and maintain existing clienteles with a focus on opening new sales distribution channels
  • Manage complex sales approach, present value propositions and drive for key strategic goals
  • Manage account pipeline, forecast accuracy, account plans, account reviews and account management and meet or exceed quarterly/annual sales quotas
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts to consistently meet sales targets and monitor inventory flow.
  • Research market trends, industry news, competitors with similar products and market share to comprehend and then incorporate sales strategies

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with sales and/or trade experience, specifically CPG space
  • Excellent organizational, analytical skills, acute attention to details and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to operate with a sense of urgency
  • A keen perception and understanding of people
