Ajilon is working with a Tech Solutions organization in King of Prussia, PA that is looking for a new Sr. Director of Sales to develop their sales team focusing on the sales of consulting solutions to pharma organizations around the globe.  This is an exciting opportunity to quickly and strongly impact an organization.  As the perfect candidate, you will have an established book of business within life sciences' consulting in either an agency or consulting environment.



  • Responsible for complete life sciences consulting sales growth. The person owns both the top and bottom lines for sales margins within life sciences. 
  • Develop a strategic sales plan that sees significant growth established by 2022.
  • Areas of business growth include Biometrics (Clinical SAS, Clinical Data Management, Biostatistics etc.,), Regulatory, QA & Clinical Trials and other emerging technologies like Blockchain, Cloud etc.,
  • Oversee Account Executives and recruiting staff
  • Develop and implement marketing, sales, business development and recruiting plans to exceed target levels.
  • Assigns appropriate sales goals and assignments to sales staff; determines optimal utilization of staff and resources to achieve sales goals.
  • Accurately forecasts new and renewal sales on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Responsible for communication with management team on sales and account strategies.
  • Works in conjunction with the Strategic Pricing Group to negotiate contracts and bids.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven on target achievement record in growing business from scratch preferably for a CRO, or for an FSP based global organization.
  • Demonstrated understanding of strategic sales techniques and principles specifically in the life sciences tech industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the life sciences industries and/or market segments. Knowledge of corporate software acquisition cycles.
  • Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or similar.
  • Requires 10 years of tech consulting sales and Health & Life Sciences experience.
