Manufacturing company in Bergen County is currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager for their 2 facilities. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Supply Chain Manager in a manufacturing environment.


  • Manage and drive the supply chain functions for North America business including purchasing and materials management, supply pipeline, market support, scheduling and planning. 
  • Responsible for leading team and setting individual goals to deliver results as well as manage the customer experience while supporting continuous improvement in the sourcing and delivery of materials
  • Minimize costs of purchased materials and transportation and participate in new product developments developing supply chains and pricing decisions for sales. 
  • Manage North American business and measure and evaluate S&OP to optimize results for OTIF OEE and working capital
  • Interface with Sales and Operations to grow business and increase operational productivity and continuous improvement.
  • Lead strategic projects and improvements with vendors and suppliers
  • Utilize all plants to maximize the customer experience and optimize inventory
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations or Engineering.  MBA/Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience directly managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating, directing work and setting priorities
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ substrate (paper and film) purchasing in a manufacturing setting
  • Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/MRP utilizing SAP
  • Advanced financial acumen and ability to apply cost-benefit analysis in decision making
  • Requires technical knowledge sufficient to deal with problems concerning raw materials used in the paper and film coating processes
  • Excellent presentation and communication to senior management and executive level on status and risks
  • Ability to work across multiple sites interfacing with all departments to develop seamless delivery for the customers
  • Ability to analyze large data to identify trends and possible alternative solutions
