Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are partnering up with a clients all accross the country for a Talent Acquisition Specialist that is responsible for the recruiting, screening, interviewing, and recommending placement of applicants.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing needs.
  • Meets with managers to develop specific recruiting plans.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with employment agencies and search firms.
  • Sourcing and attracting candidates by using social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Craig’s list, ZipRecruiter, etc.), radio, etc.
  • Acts as liaison with area employment agencies and advertising agencies.
  • Schedules and attends job/career fairs with appropriate staff to generate qualified applicants.
  • Provides information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants
  • Will provide initial screening of applications and resumes to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.
  • Performing in-person and phone interviews with candidates
  • Communicating employer information and benefits during screening process.
  • Extends verbal job offers.
  • Conducts reference checks on administrative and professional job openings.
  • Conducts orientation of new employees including preparing orientation packets.
  • Produces monthly reports on employment activity.
  • Knowledge of local and industry-wide labor rates to insure company’s competitiveness in the labor market.
  • QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate Degree, preferably in Human Resources and/or 7 years recruitment experience in a multi-site manufacturing facility.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, communication and organizational skills.
  • Sourcing and attracting candidates by using social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Craig’s list, ZipRecruiter, etc.), radio, etc.
  • Acts as liaison with area employment agencies and advertising agencies.
  • Schedules and attends job/career fairs to generate qualified applicants
  • Some travel may be required to off-site locations.
