Ajilon is currently in search of a Talent and Development Specialist for our Construction Industry client in the Baltimore area. This is a full time Permanent position.
As the Talent and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining a recruiting pipeline to attract talent to the client brand. In addition, will create, develop, implement, and conduct/coordinate training and development programs for employees.
Responsibilities:
Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment cycle
Collaborates with department managers to draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and set hiring processes.
Schedules interviews
Maintains employee referral program.
Conducts exit interviews
Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers.
Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of training for employees.
Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.
Maintains records of training and development, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
Prepares and maintains performance management program.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field, or equivalent work experience
SHRM-CP preferred
Excellent organizational, written and verbal and communication skills
At least 5 years of experience managing a full recruitment cycle
Highly motivated and target/results driven
Works well within a team environment
Proficient with HRIS/applicant tracking systems, preferably ADP
