We are currently recruiting for a Talent Development Specialist role! This is a temp to hire position and requires 80% travel within NC and SC. If you love training, have manufacturing experience, facilitation experience and experience deploying and mapping out strategies, this is the role for you! Responsibilities:

  • Manage the implementation of the New Hire Orientation and Onboarding program for multiple facilities
  • Serve as implementation support for Training Coordinators 
  • Serve as the liasion with site leadership and site HR team
  • Provide instructional guidance to Training Coordinators and Plant Trainers for on-the-job training methods or activities based on the role, environment, and complexity of the job
  • Partner with Talent Development to assist in the creation of job aids and training material
  • Liaise with subject matter experts to assist with the development of training record documentation and practical application scenarios when needed
  • Ensure templates and standards for New Hire Orientation and Onboarding program are utilized consistently throughout operations to drive uniformity and best practices
  • Assist with the assessment of on-the-job instructional effectiveness and training delivery via observations and by gathering feedback from new hires to determine areas for improvement
  • Assist HR Managers and Training Coordinators with utilizing UltiPro to monitor, track, and report on onboarding progress and completions
  • Develop strong working relationships with employees at all locations based on trust, mutual respect and a positive team approach to learning and development
  • Assist with collecting and analyzing participant feedback regarding the effectiveness of New Hire Orientation and Onboarding experience
  • Update and maintain current New Hire Orientation and Onboarding documents and resources
  • Monitor and support each sites delivery a smooth, effective New Hire Orientation and Onboarding experience that provides new hires with the information, tools, training and resources needed to ensure their success in the first 90+ days on the job
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • At least 5 years of training experience
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Office 360 proficiency specifically: Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a strong sense of empathy, patience, flexibility, and diplomacy
  • Ability to work calmly and maintaining good judgment in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Perform as a team player
  • Strong analytical skills including root cause analysis, problem-solving, and reporting capabilities
  • Have a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
