About this Role:

Ajilon has partnered with a reputable and international manufacturing company client to find their next VP of Supply Chain. This position will be located in the Atlanta Metro Area. This position is not currently open for relocation and taking candidates within the Atlanta Metro. The VP of Supply Chain will be accountable for the overall development & implementation of supply chain strategy, building teams, sourcing, production and outsourcing strategies and partnership management on an international level. Will have a high focus on Cost of Goods, product integrity and efficiency.


Reports to the CEO and will lead a team of dedicated senior level staff.


Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ degree in management or business related field.
  • MBA is a plus.

    Experience and Job requirements:

  • 14+ years of experience of relevant senior level experience with a high focus in the sourcing function, leading strategic sourcing activity of direct and indirect materials, corporate strategy, supply chain and GLOBAL logistics and production processes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of strategic sourcing process and tools and their application in restructuring indirect purchases of a global manufacturing business. Track record of delivering significant cost reduction and service level improvements.
  • Exceptional blend of analytical, creative and decision-making solving skills.
  • In-depth understanding of goods and factoring sourcing on a foreign and domestic scale.
  • Strong ability to strive in a mid-size company.
  • Boots on the ground contributor experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Has achieved year on year improvements in working capital reductions and improved in time deliver directly accountable to planning and procurement activities.
  • Expertise in negotiation of long-term contracts with safeguards against identified risks.
  • Demonstrated successful knowledge and implementation of lean practices
  • Ability to self-motivate, multi-task and work to build a family style driven company.
  • Creates and manages department budgets.
  • Oversees the execution of forecast/supply/inventory planning in conjunction with supply chain planning.
  • Willing to travel 35-50% domestically, 20-30% internationally.

    This position is on-site.
